It works on my internal network just fine.
You need to setup a path in your internet router / firewall. Look at the port forwarding option. You can select a port to use on the internet side, lets say 8081, and have it forward to your internal ip address, lets say 192.168.1.10. So inside your network you access the unit at <a href= http://192.168.1.10/
; eudora= autourl >http://192.168.1.10</a> while outside on the internet it would be <a href= http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8081/
; eudora= autourl >http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:8081</a> note the colon then 8081 at the end ) which then forwards to internal IP 192.168.1.10 port 80 standard http port ). To find out what is your internet IP address, go to <a href= http://www.whatismyipaddress.com/
; eudora= autourl >http://www.whatismyipaddress.com</a> . That is the number you would use in the XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX when accessing the device from the internet.http://www.RemotePowerSwitch.com
